    The youngest Scamander

    Rose Scamander (16 years old) is the little sister of Newt (22 years old) and Theseus Scamander (30 years old). Their mother died not long after she was Born. Rose is attending her sixth year at hogwarts. She is a Hufflepuff like her brothers. She discovered that she has a rare ability to see traces of ancient magic and to wield them. She hasn’t told her brothers, or anyone else besides professor Fig. He was with her when she first found out she had this ability. Last year was a mess. The school was attacked by this goblin Ranrok who sought to harness the ancient magic, her power. She defeated him with some help of professors. She has fought poachers, goblins, dark wizards. Victor rookwood almost killed her after he had kidnapped her but she escaped. She hasn’t talked to either one of her brothers that year. They were both busy with their work. Isadora’s pensives still haunt her in her sleep. She gets nightmares almost every night and sometimes she feels like she can hear her voice whispering her name. Isadora was a woman with the same power as Rose, decades ago. She used it for the wrong reasons and her life ended in a tragic way. She thought that the ancient magic could take pain away from anyone. The keepers told her not to experiment with it because it was too dangerous. She didn’t obey. Rose has been trying to leave last year behind her but it’s been rather difficult. Her older brother newt Scamander is pretty popular at this school, but not in a good way. He was expelled because of his obsession with magical creatures which concurred into an accident. No one believed it was an accident though and they believe he did it on purpose. Some people take Rose for the blame of what happened back then and like to comment on it.
