However, they all yearn for a motherās love, theyāre only children and canāt understand why their mother would leave them.. they do not miss her at all because she was mean when she was around, they donāt much like any women actually, but they yearn for a mother.. they need a mother as any young children do, Mattheo has done his best to fill the void over the years but to no avail, Nannieās overstepped or were lacking, any relationship he attempted for the childrenās sake ended that same day, so eventually the pursuit of a mother ended but the missing spot where one belonged remained, and the emptiness in the children chest did too. Years went by and before Mattheo knew it the children were 10, 8 & 5, heād done everything in his power to raise them up right, give them everything that he never had, which brings us to now, the children had begged him for a month straight to take off work and take them to the amusement park, only going to such a public normal plane as a mafia family posed a lot of problems, but still he didnāt want to disappoint the children and so he reluctantly agreed & took them and a whole lot of undercover security, everything was going well for a while, the house passed, the children were basically bouncing off the wall, cutting the lines, getting on every ride in sight & pulling Mattheo along for half of them, eating all types of junk & vendor food, then something happened Lyra & Thomas were right there and then they werenāt.. a panic set in immediately, he searched everywhere in sight, called their names but no response , he began to lose it internally, minutes from shutting down the entire amusement park, his mind already playing through the worse thatās when a fragile voice calls from behind him āsir?ā And he turns around ready to scream at whoever dared interrupt him while heās searching for his entire world, and instead lays eyes on the most beautiful women heās ever seen, like heād dreamt her up from his wildest fantasies and now she was standing there, and clinging to her, actually clinging to her were his children, alive & well, uninjured & seemingly completely trusting of this young woman, he feels like he canāt breathe again, as the woman explains they hadnāt gotten lost & sheād help walk them around the park until she found their father, even comforted a crying Lyra; buying both the children cotton candy.. heās an absolute awe a total stranger just watched after his children, brought them back to him.. gave them candy.. and didnāt even want to thank you. The children seemed reluctant to even return to Mattheo because it meant leaving her.. Mattheo himself is enchanted.. hanging onto every word that leaves her lips, all of a sudden wanting to know everything about her.. heās knows right then, right there as he looks between his children and her.. that he has to have her, that his children have to have her.. the perfect mother, the perfect wife.. and he refuses to take no for an answer or lose. Survival was all anyone cared about.. Harmony Gaunt, knew of sorrow before the war her father was a married man with four children, but not to her mother, her mother Amelia gaunt was dazzling and beautiful & a wild child.. She rebelled and rebelled until she lost her life. Harmony was only ten, after my motherās death she was passed between being raised by relatives or the orphanage. Which is where she met her cousin & closest ally Mattheo riddle. They had always just understood each other. Harmony was always beautiful and inquisitive. She liked to watch people. She was brilliant, during her days at Hogwarts. She was top of her class, slytherin seeker , even female prefect. She loved to sketch, read & write, play chess.. She was very well liked even outside of Slytherin. During the last war, most of her remaining relatives would die, her line had already longed faded out.. leaving behind just a few cousins, harmony learned to rely on herself.. and only trust herselfā¦ after the war, everyone was separatedā¦ it was a long time before people saw faces of others, some friendly, some familiar and some not. A sickness sweeped the nation. Before Harmony knew it she was infected, people were dying around her from the same sicknessā¦ supplies were incredibly low before she knew it she survived, but she had changedā¦ she had a certain hunger, she couldnāt quench itā¦ she needed something to survive, and that something was bloodā¦. She had briefly thought she was the only of her kind but soon met others, just like her they had survived the sickness somehow.. but changed instead. Some people she knew, recognizedā¦ When society started building homes & markets again that is when people slowly started being reunited. The slytherin inner circle, Parkinson, Nott, Zabini, riddle, the greengrass girls & Malfoy, all seemingly survived the war. Harmony & Draco have never publicly gotten along, theyād hooked up in third year, after a party, it was mostly pressured by expectations, it was messy, inexperienced & both of their first, over the years they had hooked up repeatedly he was like her, someone who needed blood to survive but theyāre never dated & always saw other people, now in the aftermath of the world it is unsure how things will progressā¦ what alliances will be formed, but trusting someone could either be the best thing or the worst thing to happen to you.. the last time Harmony and Draco had seen rather was seven months ago, Harmony was a drifter, she always moved place to place, Draco saw her in a way no one ever did, and due to their shared sickness she trusted him.. the last time they saw eachother they had hooked up as always seemed too, they parted days later, Harmony disappeared again without a word, four weeks later thoughā¦ she knew with clarity she was pregnant with his child, months passedā¦ she did her best to hide & protect her pregnancy, a sanctuary was built & Harmony wasnāt the only one to seek refuge there; sheās reunited with Draco, unsure if she should tell him, and if she does.. what happens now, and with both of them having a sickness.. their childā¦ would likely too.. early on, they had to protect everything, keep everything a secret.
