Gets to meet the mother who died delivering him.. he never once saw her in the flesh but grew up on stories of her, he adores his mother in his head way more than his father and actually blames his father for her untimely death, she was only 24.. and it was an arraigned marriage by her parents, she didn’t love his father and yet she still lost her life for him.. Theodore never believed he’d ever see her.. but there she was prior to marrying his father, prior to bad things in her life, she was just sixteen, beautiful.. witty, intelligent.. basically a female Theodore, Harmony freya Darling was a beautiful, witty, talented & intelligent young women, she’s a talented chess player & pianist, and above all an artist, her sketches are phenomenal and on top of that she’s dropdead gorgeous with long brown curly hair & green eyes the color of the forbidden forest, she’s highly fashionable, she charms everyone she meets with a single glance & smile, she’s witty & well mannered. And from a highly respected family. to Theodore he was half of what she was. He can’t help but seek a relationship with her in any form, he becomes her tutoree and then her friend… he tries to keep a distance but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and the more he seeks her out the more he loves her unconditionally never telling her the truth of who he is, his friend group learns to adore his mother too, she’s lovely and funny.. and for Mattheo…. She’s everything, it’s a bit disgusting and disrespectful to fall in love with your best mates dead mother from the past but here Mattheo was.. completely captivated by a woman who no longer existed in his timeline, he begins unwillingly learning everything about her, at first than it becomes intentional.. how he seeks her out, he tries to deny how fond he is of her but even Theodore can see it all over his best friends face, disgusted as he might be.. he wishes for a man like Mattheo for his mother versus his father but.. if that happened Theodore would cease to exist and.. perhaps none of this would’ve ever happened in the first place
