Their loyalty & bond was unshakenable, from nappys to busted knees to Hogwarts walls, they were a force to be reckoned with, people had always been jealous of their bond, Dracoâs admirers always assuming their bond was more than platonic, Harmonys admirers angry that Draco of all people receives her affection, they were just two peas of a pod, he countered all her witty remarks, dealt with all her loudness & sometimes obnoxiousness, she delt with his anger, his lash outs, his secrets, his sometimes coolness, she shared his interests, he did his best to share her & they just⊠spent their lives revolving around the other, neither of them had ever realized it was romantic, see in the middle of sixth year, amidst his father grooming him to be heir, his stipulation that Draco married, allowing him to chose a bride, itâs only then that Draco realizes.. he has no one heâd pick, that the only women in his life for so long has been Harmony, that every plan for the future heâs got planned out, sheâs there beside him, he doesnât know how to work it out, these weird feelings heâs experiencing, this new tightness in his chest when she smiles at him, the absolute shattering when she smiles at someone else, he doesnât know if he can confess, howâd he would go about doing so in the first place, heâs just forced day by day to realize more that he loves her, irreversibly..all while the timer goes down, enter Harry Potter, Dracoâs sworn enemy, everyone knows & since Harmonyâs Dracoâs bestfriend she pretty much steered clear of the boy out of loyalty, but when youâre as dazzling as Harmony Montague attention follows you regardless to denial. Seeing Harry Potter, the boy Draco hates so much, absolutely loathes attention on Harmony causes him to finally lash out, his feelings unbearable to keep under the surface, now all thatâs left is making his bestfriend fall in love with him too before he loses her to someone else, or his clock runs out and his father decides for him.
