Daryl Dixon was a tough person. Rough around the edges, quick to anger, disgusting to others and frequently looking out for himself and no one else, it’s safe to say that was instilled in him from his own father, him & his brother merle truthfully had to raise themselves, they both ran with the wrong cliques, got into some trouble in their day, and struggled with money & other issues, for daryl there was only one reprieve and that was Harmony Freya darling, she lived down the street from him with her grandmother for as long as he could remember, he first met her when she still had pigtails in her hair & missing teeth & honestly he loved her even then. She was brilliant and funny, and his first female friend ever, she just got him. He never had to really explain anything to her, not his father, not his money issues.. no apologies necessary, she just opened her arms for him. He adored her , the sun was her smile in the morning. She was down for everything, together they faced just about everything the world had to throw at them, they were so different but they just worked. She was all sunshine & resilience and he was a grump who couldn’t see the world they way she did, he was sometimes cruel with her, neglectful, ungrateful towards what hes got. She work three jobs so did he, they struggled together, married in a small red neck wedding. And eventually moved together on their own, Daryl remembers those years as his happiest, they had to work tirelessly to keep lights on but they were unconditionally happy without the toxicity of the outside world hurting their relationship, together they had eight children!! EIGHT. all loved, all well loved, happy, taken care of. In order, Daryl jr “DJ”, Mason, Lyra & James, Rosemary, Aurora, Evelynn & lastly Josephine. Money was tight, but they were rich in love. Harmony freya Darling was a beautiful, witty, talented & intelligent young women, she’s a talented chess player & pianist, and above all an artist, her sketches are phenomenal and on top of that she’s dropdead gorgeous with long brown curly hair & green eyes the color of the forbidden forest. All their children resembled harmony the most, all had her eyes. Which made Daryl love them all the more, they were all spoiled. But well mannered and well raised.. talented, beautiful, creative, funny & intelligent children. Truly perfect all of them,
