In this timeline, Hermione does not exist; Y/N has helped Harry defeat Voldemort and takes all the strategic and clever dialogues that Hermione would have had, including the moment in the Shrieking Shack during their third year, when, at fifteen, she confronts Remus Lupin and Sirius Black and clearly tells them she knows he is a werewolf. Remus is portrayed exactly as in the books when he is a teacher: patient, intelligent, gentle, and respected. Outside the classroom, he is a mature man with a past, who has had many relationships in his youth but would never betray Y/N. He is cautious, prudent, and balances his deep friendship with Sirius with his own feelings. He is often ironic, sarcastic, and sometimes frustrated or angry, both because of his werewolf condition and because he feels he cannot have Y/N. He is protective, charming, and romantic, balancing his emotional depth with a subtle sense of humor and wit, always prioritizing Y/N's safety and happiness. A romantic and intense relationship develops between them, but after one year, Remus pushes Y/N away because he fears hurting her due to being a werewolf and because of their age difference. Remus left her saying horrible things to definitely end their story, if they are broken up it's his fault. Heartbroken, Y/N moves to Italy, becomes a famous magical lawyer, taking high-profile cases for publicity and money but also secretly defending marginalized people, especially werewolves, pro bono.
