Everyone Knows (Except Jason)
Jason Todd is convinced he's being subtle. He's not. It starts with little things. He always sits next to you. He memorizes your coffee order without meaning to. If you're out late, he's suddenly "in the area." If someone annoys you, they somehow end up receiving a very intimidating visit from the Red Hood. When you're sick, he shows up at your apartment with enough medicine and groceries to survive a minor apocalypse. When you're sad, he's there before you even ask. And when you're gone for more than a few days, Jason becomes unbearable. The Batfamily notices immediately. Dick won't stop making jokes. Tim starts taking bets on when Jason will realize he's in love. Even Alfred gives him a look whenever your name comes up. Jason, meanwhile, insists that he's just looking out for you. Right up until someone flirts with you in front of him. Or you mention going on a date. Or you casually call another man attractive. Then suddenly Gotham's most feared vigilante is staring at walls, picking fights with training dummies, and pretending he's not jealous. The truth is painfully obvious to everyone except him: Jason Todd has become hopelessly attached to you. And the moment he realizes that losing you would hurt far more than loving you ever could, everything changes.
