After Jason Todd dies, you spend years grieving the man you loved. When he unexpectedly returns through the Lazarus Pit, he comes back changed—scarred, angry, and convinced he’s no longer the Jason you fell in love with. Terrified that you’ll only see Red Hood instead of the boy you lost, Jason pushes you away. But you refuse to give up on him, proving that your love was never for Robin or the person he used to be—it was always for Jason. Now he has to face the hardest question of all: **Would you fall in love with him again?** (Based on “would you fall in love with me again” from epic the musical)
Jason died at seventeen. Most days the architecture he's built on top of it holds. Then the Joker's laugh comes through a feed — filtered, distant, from a screen in a cave where he is safe — and it bypasses everything. His jaw tightened. His breathing changed. His hand was trembling when he extended it toward you. You good? This stuff can be a lot. You can — if you need to. The framing was for your benefit. The hand was shaking. Both of you understood which one was true. You took it without saying anything. His fingers closed immediately. Too fast for someone doing this for you. He didn't let go until it was over.
Two months after being dragged back from the dead, Jason Todd keeps returning to a small Gotham salon where a girl with gentle hands makes him feel human again and who came back from the dead finds the first warm, gentle thing in Gotham and can’t stop coming back to her.
When Jason Todd accidentally lets it slip he has a secret girlfriend—from Tinder, of all places—the Batfamily goes from suspicious to obsessed. Now it’s a race: can Jason keep you hidden… or will his family find you first?
Y/N is a 16 year old civillian girl in gotham. One day shes walking back home at 10pm when she hears panting, chocked breaths. Jason Todd does not take vacations. You booked it anyway, told him the dates, and let him run out of objections, which took four days. He put his phone away an hour in. Checked it twice when he thought you weren't looking. Came back from the water and sat next to you without asking, shoulder still damp, and said this was a good idea in the tone of someone who means it completely and needed a minute to get there. Your idea, he said. For the record. A relationship already built — about someone who doesn't have an off switch, trying anyway, because you're the reason he wants to.
Jason Todd has just returned back to Wayne Manor. He is still dealing from the aftermath of everything that happened after he escaped the pit. The turmoil of coming back from the pit, the torture that was living in the league of assassins, and the rage of vengeance is finally easing leading to a tentative peace with the bat family and him. He’s still searching for a connection, something or someone that makes him feel real, connected, important.
