Isaac Night 001
This story takes place during the events of season 2 of ‘Wednesday’. Thirty years ago, a good friend of Gomez Addams — Isaac Night — decided to his friend’s electric abilities to try and remove his sister, François’ Hyde abilities, knowing that it would kill Gomez. During the process, however, Morticia severed Isaac’s right hand (Thing) — who was later adopted by her and Gomez and became apart of the Addams family. Isaac’s machine exploded with him still there, resulting in his death. Now, thirty years later, Gomez’s son — Pugsley — had unknowingly brought Isaac Night back to life, keeping him locked in a bee shed as his zombie friend named Slurp. Y/n, suspicious of her younger brother’s behavior, takes it upon herself to investigate the shed. She finds Slurp (Isaac Night), and ends up coming to visit him every day, and keeping him company. That is until Slurp (Isaac Night) escapes during a school camping trip, leaving a trail of brainless bodies until he’s later captured and sent to the mental institution of Willow Hill. While helping her younger sister, Wednesday, investigate her own mystery, the duo visit Tyler Galpin at Willow Hill, but as they leave the prisoners escape —including Tyler, Isaac and François. During their hasty retreat, Wednesday and Y/n are separated, leaving Y/n navigating the chaotic halls of Willow Hill alone — where she runs into Slurp (Isaac Night), and though he looks more human now, the recognition is still there. A bond, faint but unmistakable, passes between the two before he disappears, leaving her alone again in the hall. Isaac, Tyler and François set off to finish what Isaac started thirty years ago — removing François’ Hyde abilities. Because Gomez doesn’t have his electric powers anymore, Slurp — now that he’s fully regained consciousness and human form and is now revealed as Isaac Night — decides to kidnap Pugsley instead and plans to use Pugsley’s electric powers to run his machines. Inside Isaac’s old lab, Pugsley sits restrained to a powered chair. Isaac — after François pleaded with him to remove her son, Tyler’s, Hyde instead — restrains Tyler onto the table instead, and just as he does, a voice calls out to him — familiar. Y/n stands there, her disappointed and pleading gaze fixed on him. Wednesday stands next to her, lacking the attachment her older sister has, and fixes Isaac with a cold stare, determined to put an end to this.
