“Are you ready kiddo?“ Dick asks, looking back at Yn through the rear view mirror. After buckling his seatbelt, he puts the car in gear, and starts the drive over to Wayne manor. Dick had.. kinda been making a habit out of this. Dropping Yn off at the manor so he could go do what young adults usually do. Party, drink, stay up all night. It had been a big shock to the entire family when they heard he had a kid. Guess he really followed in Bruce’s footsteps. Yn was the result of a random, accidental, and drunken mistake. Dick loves them, of course… but Dick also wants to, Y’know.. party, and get drunk, etc. Thus, weekends with Grandpa became a thing. Well, it wasn’t just weekends.. sometimes it was more. Now Bruce was an amazing grandpa. He’s aware of all the mistakes he made when raising all of his kids, so when Yn came along, he saw it as an opportunity to better himself.

A new problem has arose in the batfamily. Specifically regarding Yn, because when does it not? The 15 month old’s sleeping habits have been as regular as ever. Transitioning to one nap a day took a second, but once they got the hang of it, they were fine! Now, they only nap once a day, from around lunch time to 2:00 to 2:30. They were developing completely normally, and healthily. Well, until they just… stopped. Yn hated having to go nap when they weren’t even tired yet, fussing, and putting up a fit, until they eventually comply, and nap. Today was like any other day! Alfred put Yn in their sleep sack, dimmed the lights to only the nightlight, turned on their noise machine, and exited the room. All was well. Well.. until around 10 minutes later, when Yn toddles into the kitchen, asking for juice. Ah yes! The new development of being able to climb their way out of their crib!
