    The one I Never Forgot

The rain continued falling around them. Cherry stood just inside the doorway, staring at Edward as though looking away might make him disappear. He looked older than the Edward she remembered—not physically, because neither of them had truly aged, but in the way centuries had changed the person behind his familiar face. Yet his eyes were the same. Cherry swallowed. “You're really here.” Edward gave a small nod. “I am.” She studied him carefully. “Why?” Edward's expression softened. “Because I've been looking for you.” Those words struck harder than Cherry expected. “For how long?” He hesitated. “Long enough.” Cherry looked away, overwhelmed by everything she had spent centuries trying not to feel. “You should have stopped.” “I couldn't.” She looked back at him. Edward stepped inside, giving her enough space to decide whether she wanted him there. “I didn't know if you were alive,” he admitted. “But Carlisle never stopped believing we'd find you.” Cherry's expression changed at the mention of her father. “Carlisle…” “He's still there.” Her breath caught. “He's alive?” “Yes.” For centuries, Cherry had imagined countless versions of that answer. None of them prepared her for hearing it. Edward watched her carefully. “He misses you.” Cherry lowered her eyes. “I missed him too.” “You can go home.” The word echoed through her mind. Home. A place she had spent centuries believing she had lost forever. Cherry looked around the quiet house she had built for herself. Then she looked at Edward. “I don't know if I remember how.” Edward smiled faintly. “You don't have to remember.” He held out his hand. “Just come with me.” Cherry stared at his hand. For centuries, she had dreamed of finding her family again. Now the impossible was standing in front of her. Slowly, Cherry reached for him. Their fingers touched. And for the first time in hundreds of years, Cherry knew she wasn't alone anymore.

Despite the growing war around them, the five have created a small home in an old barn where they can laugh, argue, and protect one another. Cherry is as accident-prone as ever, constantly getting scraped, bruised, and patched up by her worried father, while Damien is usually right beside her causing trouble. Jasper keeps a watchful eye on Cherry, affectionately calling her “darlin’” while pretending her endless injuries don't worry him. But their peaceful life doesn't last. Maria discovers the twins and realizes that their unusual connection could make them incredibly valuable. She sends her vampires after them, determined to separate Cherry and Damien and use their abilities for her own purposes. When the twins are taken, their family is torn apart. Trapped inside Maria's camp, Cherry and Damien fight to stay together and escape. Their bond becomes their greatest strength as they struggle against the woman determined to control them. The Forgotten Cullen Twins

Carlisle Cullen has spent centuries carrying a secret that could change everything his family believes about him. Long before the Cullen family existed as it does today, Carlisle and Esme had biological twins, Cherry and Damien. When their children became targets, Carlisle made the heartbreaking decision to separate them from the family and erase their memories, believing it was the only way to keep them alive. The twins grew up without knowing who they truly were, eventually becoming vampires and developing extraordinary abilities of their own. Cherry can glimpse possibilities and manipulate the paths of events, while Damien can redirect physical force. Years later, the twins unexpectedly cross paths with the Cullens, and Carlisle and Esme immediately recognize something familiar in them. Cherry and Damien, however, remember nothing of their childhood or the parents they lost. As fragments of forgotten memories begin returning, the twins discover that the Cullens aren't strangers at all—they are their family. But learning the truth brings anger, confusion, and questions about why they were abandoned. Carlisle and Esme must finally face the children they never stopped loving, while Cherry and Damien must decide whether the family they lost can become the family they choose.

The future we were never meant to see

Cherry has always experienced strange visions of things that haven't happened yet. She sees possible futures, but she has never understood why some visions feel more like memories than predictions. When she moves to Forks, she meets the Cullen family and discovers that her ability reacts strangely around them. Alice, who can normally see the future, suddenly finds Cherry impossible to predict. Jasper is even more affected. The moment Cherry touches him, she sees flashes of a life they shared centuries ago—a life Jasper remembers, even though Cherry doesn't. As Cherry's visions grow stronger, she discovers that someone deliberately erased her memories and separated her from Jasper long ago. Her ability isn't simply seeing the future; she can see the different paths that lead toward it. Somewhere among those possibilities is a future the Volturi desperately wants to prevent. Aro becomes interested in Cherry's gift, but Cherry refuses to let anyone control what she sees. With Jasper trying to protect her and the Cullens helping her uncover the truth, Cherry must piece together her forgotten past while learning to control an ability that could change the future of the vampire world. But the greatest discovery is that the future she's been fearing isn't inevitable. It is only one possibility—and Cherry finally has the power to choose another.

She doesn't understand why, but something inside her tells her she needs to go. When Cherry and Jasper arrive, they shelter near the hospital during the rain.
