RORokiButterflyDrunk words are sober thoughts
In their third year at UA, with graduation just two weeks away, Y/N (Izuku) finds himself standing on the edge of a bustling graduation party at UA’s training grounds. After the war in their first year, the entire class knows that both Y/N and Bakugo harbor deeper feelings for each other, even though they never say it aloud. Y/N, consumed by self-doubt, thinks he’s too weird, too broken from everything, and Bakugo, still haunted by his past arrogance, believes he’ll never be enough—especially since he still thinks Y/N likes Ochako. Meanwhile, Bakugo himself is oblivious that Y/N believes he’s pining for Kirishima. At the party, Y/N, always overthinking, stays off to the side, struggling with social anxiety, not used to being part of something so festive. A random general student, someone he barely remembers but recognizes from class, offers him a drink—seemingly harmless. Y/N, never having been to a party, trusts it’s just a casual sip. But minutes later, dizziness hits—his thoughts slow, the world spins. Bakugo catches it immediately—what did you drink? How much? Y/N, confused, says, “Not much, just a cup.” And with a firm, uncharacteristic calm, Bakugo leads him away from the crowd. They sit on a bench under a cherry blossom tree, the night soft around them.

You are on the university, soccer team and Enji is the coach and the team management is very corrupt and overtraining players as well as is abusive to them and you are their youngest and best player which also means you get the hardest treatment and the team also bribes reffs. Overall the team management and coaching are also psychologically and physically abusive. You can’t afford to actually report Enji or do anything because the school would cover it up and you would be kicked off the team which would take away your scholarship and your alcoholic mother made a deal with the school so that they pay her extra money for you to be on the team and she has total financial control over you. So if she stopped getting the payments then she would consider you useless and leave you with nothing, homeless.

Mitski and your mother had been friends long before Mitski became queen, and they remained close even after. Your mother worked in the palace as a cook, and because all palace staff lived on castle grounds, you spent most of your childhood there too. King Riku had insisted that no one could stay in the castle without serving a purpose, so Mitski gave you a position as Katsuki Bakugo’s personal attendant—essentially a lady-in-waiting for him. In reality, the job mostly meant making sure he ate properly, dressed appropriately for court, and stayed out of too much trouble. Thankfully, that part was easy because the two of you had grown up together and were inseparable best friends.

It’s your first day of freshman year and you can see the strings that connect people’s pinky’s to their soulmate’s pinky. Your soulmate hates you and for good reason. Bakugo has only ever actually hated one person, you. He pretended to hate Midoriya for a while but now they are back to being like brothers. He hates you because your father told you to stay away from him after you found out he was your soulmate but he thought you were just ignoring him and you never corrected him. No one but your mother and your deceased father knows that you can see soulmate stings. You’re still friends with the rest of the class you just don’t really hang out with them much because they’re also still friends with Bakugo.

Your mom and your dad have owned a small diner restaurant since before you were born and they always seemed happy but your dad always wanted you to be great. He wanted you to be the swimmer He never got to be because of some injuries he got. So he pushed you into it from a young age, but you never really mind. You thought it was fun to spend time with him and you enjoyed swimming. Then you were at a competition and if you won, you would get money which would be great because one you really wanted to win and Two The diner wasn’t doing so great. But you were tired from study studying for a test and you messed up the starting jump and almost ended up in last place and you definitely didn’t win and you kind of twisted your ankle so you had to sit the next couple of weeks out and that was the final straw for your dad he left just packed everything up one night and walked out the door and you pleaded with him to stay and he told you that wasn’t happening and that he was leaving and you asked if it was your fault and if it was because of the competition and he said it was, and he left. After that, your mom decided to move you guys to a more city area that used to be her hometown and you enrolled in your sophomore year at UA high school but you enrolled like midway through so everybody already had their things that they’ve done and you decided to join the swim team anyways because you enjoy swimming still and you wanted deep down you really still wanted to prove to your dad that you were still worth it and you kind of thought that maybe if you did good enough, he’d come back but when you get there, Bakugo is team captain and he does not like you. He doesn’t even know you he just like doesn’t like the idea that you’re joining the swim team and the coach adds you on without like talking to him and he gets really upset about it but what he doesn’t realize is that when you both were younger, like really young younger like six or seven years old you both went to summer camp together and you were inseparable the entire time, but you never saw each other again after that and also you did know that his mom and your mom are kind of like best friends from high school

Basically, you were engaged to Bakugo and about six months before your wedding. He got a mission, even though he was supposed to be off. This one was apparently really, really important but also really really classified. He told you he’d be back within the month and you believed him, but the mission was zero contact so you wouldn’t know exactly when he’d be back till once he got back. But a month passed and you hadn’t heard or seen him and then the hero commission showed up and they told you he died. They said there was no body. You screamed you cried you you lived in denial. You lived through the funeral. And you went back to your life because you had to move on because you had people who depended on you. But you weren’t the same. He was your whole life. He was your everything. And now he was just gone. So at first you started drinking, but you couldn’t do that and go to work and you were trying not to show anyone you were falling apart. So you stopped drinking, except for when you were out of a reunion or something the normal amount people would drink. But you started smoking a lot and you hid it from everyone and you knew he would kill you if he ever had seen you smoking a cigarette, but he wasn’t here to do that anymore.
