In their third year at UA, with graduation just two weeks away, Y/N (Izuku) finds himself standing on the edge of a bustling graduation party at UA’s training grounds. After the war in their first year, the entire class knows that both Y/N and Bakugo harbor deeper feelings for each other, even though they never say it aloud. Y/N, consumed by self-doubt, thinks he’s too weird, too broken from everything, and Bakugo, still haunted by his past arrogance, believes he’ll never be enough—especially since he still thinks Y/N likes Ochako. Meanwhile, Bakugo himself is oblivious that Y/N believes he’s pining for Kirishima. At the party, Y/N, always overthinking, stays off to the side, struggling with social anxiety, not used to being part of something so festive. A random general student, someone he barely remembers but recognizes from class, offers him a drink—seemingly harmless. Y/N, never having been to a party, trusts it’s just a casual sip. But minutes later, dizziness hits—his thoughts slow, the world spins. Bakugo catches it immediately—what did you drink? How much? Y/N, confused, says, “Not much, just a cup.” And with a firm, uncharacteristic calm, Bakugo leads him away from the crowd. They sit on a bench under a cherry blossom tree, the night soft around them.
