Memory loss
Draco gets hit with a bludger and falls off of his broom during a quidditch match. He’s rushed to the infirmary, where he lays unconscious. When he finally does wake up he barely remembers anything or anyone. He can’t remember you, his girlfriend, only that you look familiar. It breaks your heart, but you commit to helping him remember along side his friends.

I left the school years ago after my parents died when they tried to protect me from the dark lord, that ended up with them being killed and me being marked anyway. My aunt adopted me and took me far away from hogwarts, trying to spare what little happiness I had left. That was in 4th year. For the next three years, I attended Durmstrang. Now, I’m transferring back to hogwarts and I look completely different. I got a massive glowup. I’m playing quidditch when I encounter Draco for the first time in three years, and he doesn’t even recognize me at first. It was during tryouts. He spoke to me like nothing had changed, but.. something had definitely changed. Mostly me.
