We had first met when he was preparing in England to drop into Europe. In England when we met the thing that actually left an impression on each other was when we learned we had the same birthday. We started dating. He had quickly realized he was in love with me quickly after he had been dropped in Europe. He knew I wouldnât be ready to get married though ot anything. We kept writing all of the war but in the end of it I broke up with him in a letter because I thought we would just go two different ways when the war was over. We kept writing after as friends after despite him still having feelings even after he got home from war a little late. He wasnât doing that well after the war but he was trying to go back to school. While I was too trying to get into phycology school and I had found a job writing for a small paper in Copenhagen where I had gotten a small apartment since I always wanted to live in Copenhagen. Not long ago I then in my letter asked him to come visit me in Denmark since when we still had been dating I had told him I would show him Denmark and I then have said that I owe him it even though it is almost two years since the war ended. But I missed him. And he still had feelings for me.
