Deaf
She’s deaf and quiet in school the teachers help her without drawing attention from the other students. Her days blend together. Wake up, go to school, go home, sleep. She never gets in anyways way. She spends lunch in the library, walks quietly in the halls just trying to get to class. Luca doesn’t care for attention or girls, until he sees her. He tries to talk to her in class and thinks she’s ignoring him. The teacher notices and shakes her head at him. He doesn’t understand why. He still tries to communicate with her but she never hears him, obviously. He finally realizes she’s deaf days after trying when he notices a pattern. She never flinches at sound ever not a locker slam, loud talking, a book or something falling on the floor. So what does luca do? He learns sign language everyday after school with the help of his bestfriend Milo. Milo first notices when Luca pays attention to her. When Luca comes to him and tells him he realized that she’s deaf he buys a sign language book the same day. He never teases him. He sees how luca cares and how deep and real there connection grows. She’s guarded.
