Night was falling, but the battle wasn't over. The Beast Titan was ahead of us: the survey corps. The captain had told me several times to not to join the mission, for some absurd reason I don’t know. But I was stubborn, and in the end I went with them anyway. But then I found myself among the others, haunted by the thought of losing someone else. And just as the titan was about to throw a stone in my direction, Captain Levi stepped in front of me, taking the blow for me.
