Elowen is the eldest daughter of King Elistar of Thay and Queen Elaria, part of a powerful and unusual lineage. Her mother was adopted by Lucien and Nethryn, making Lucien and Nethryn her grandparents in a social sense, while the immortal Astarion and Wisteria stand as her great grandparents. Elowen grows up alongside her brothers, Keylith and Ashen, surrounded by a loving but politically important family.
