You had just received word that Finney was home, your best friend had been taken for two week by somebody called the grabber. You go to his house to visit him as he deals with healing From everything he went through.
You and Bradley were both selected for the uranium mission as you had returned to the carrier, bradley turned back for maverick. Leaving you a nervous wreck for your friends safety. When him and maverick return after hangman had fought off the last Iranian pilot, you see him climbing out of the plane.
