Y/N was at a sleepover with a friend, they were posting instagram or tiktok stories about reckless acts, making funny skits, the night full of laughter and warmth. Until the vibe shifted completely, it started out with unknown accounts liking their stories despite the audience controls on friends only. Or the fact they were getting sudden glitches in most stories they were watching back. Then they got added to a strange group chat with confusing but familiar names. The two had first thought it was prank usernames or a really good roleplay group chat from how they were texting.
