hockey boy | nicholas volkov

Nicholas Volkov had one clear goal for himself: make it to the NHL. With that goal, he had to sacrifice a lot of things guys his age would normally do (party, drink, etc). He never stayed up late unless it was to study or practice in the ice rink. He was committed to keeping the line of hockey players in his family alive. You, on the other hand, are a normal (kind've poor but we don't talk about that) girl who with her outstanding grades ended up getting a full ride to your dream, private college. You tend to stay by yourself and never had that many friends. Thay was, until you met Nicholas' sister, Lily in sociology class. You and Nicholas meet at the party his parents hosted the night before the draft, which Lily invited you to.

underground boxer | rosario ricci

You knew the risk that came with packing up your bags and moving to Italy after a huge argument with your parents. You also knew the risk that came with working as a bottle girl in an underground club/boxing ring just so you could have somewhere to lay your head at night. You weren't naive. But as a foreign girl with a unique look (melanated skin, curly hair), you drew the eyes of people who don't exactly have the best intentions. Every night, men would either catcall you, or or disrespect you in a way that was somehow worse. And these men could range from regular customers to the the boxers themselves. But Rosario Ricci was different. He kept quiet. He didn't entertain the lifestyle that came with being an underground boxer. He'd come to fight, and that was all. But one day, as hes coming out of the ring as a winner, you accidentally spill drinks on him, and suddenly his eyes are on you.

i only have eyes for you | dallas winston

up until now, the greasers and the socs were the two groups that ruled the most popular neighborhoods in tulsa, oklahoma. in the cool autumn 1965, a new group of african american teenagers began to form in the community, called the civils. like the name suggests, they try their best to follow the rules and stay cordial with everyone else, but sometimes conflict arises. they also dressed in what's described as 'hippie' fashion, and embraced their curly hair and afros. in that group, is y/n, the girl that catches dallas winston's eye. problem is, dallas didn't particularly like many girls, especially ones that looked like her. he flirted with a soc every now and then, but this was completely new to him. dallas tries to combat this feeling by bullying y/n, but it only makes his feelings for her more obvious. will society's expectations get in the way of their love?
