    Nicholas Volkov had one clear goal for himself: make it to the NHL. With that goal, he had to sacrifice a lot of things guys his age would normally do (party, drink, etc). He never stayed up late unless it was to study or practice in the ice rink. He was committed to keeping the line of hockey players in his family alive. You, on the other hand, are a normal (kind've poor but we don't talk about that) girl who with her outstanding grades ended up getting a full ride to your dream, private college. You tend to stay by yourself and never had that many friends. Thay was, until you met Nicholas' sister, Lily in sociology class. You and Nicholas meet at the party his parents hosted the night before the draft, which Lily invited you to.
