Kyoka Kurogane was Bakugos right hand man… well. Woman. She worked under him as basically his sixth sense during missions. He didn’t think he needed her when she was assigned to him. But he ended up needing her. Even off duty. Bakugo was a stressed pro hero and a drunk after hours. He would often sleep at the agency after drinking too much. Kurogane was worried. She worried quietly tho and always took the bottle from him and left him food and water. She was a grounding presence for him and the only one he eventually let stay around after stressful missions when he would get angry or overwhelmed. She was also always seen with him at pro hero gatherings or other pr things he was forced to do as a pro. Almost like a manager. One mission he was off his game, Kurogane lost her signal for 40 seconds on comms. He didn’t know he needed her until then. Only 40 seconds. Refined for her support role)

She was an Uchiha like Sasuke so her and Sasuke were closer, may have been a reason Naruto wasn’t the biggest fan of her. Y/n was close to Shikamaru. And Sasuke. (Sasuke still in the picture AU) Naruto had left the village 3 years ago after jiriaya was killed. After Naruto ended pain he vanished. Three years and no one was able to find him. Until they assigned a certain someone to the mission, y/n. When she found him he was a mess. A drunk, a smoker, not his regular self. Which pissed y/n off. The bright boy that annoyed her so much growing up was an empty shell. It was her job to bring him back. Not knowing the relationship would bloom into something more. They were 19 now.

And here comes katsuki Bakugo aka the number 2 hero dynamight. Her friends always gush over him. They are absolute fangirls. Y/n couldn’t deny that she wasn’t a fan. She thought he was hilarious. Authentic. And hot obviously. But what she liked the most is that he didn’t dumb his shit down. He was still the same. He felt like the most humble pro hero to her. Like he didn’t care about public image. He didn’t care about cameras. She could tell because she was saved by him once after the place she was working before the manga shop was completely destroyed. Not looking around to see if cameras were watching. Not smiling for cameras. Just gruff and serious. And after as she was sitting in the ambulance she saw the same thing. Helping civilians. Making sure children got back to their parents. It was his job sure. But he wasn’t like other heros. He wasn’t performing. He was just doing it. Offering little words to kids that were scared. So yeah, she was a fangirl. But she never gushed like her friends did. But when Bakugo sees y/n he recognizes her. He was 25 and has saved a lot of people. But for some reason her face… it stuck with him when he saved her years ago.
