The story takes place after the Shibuya Incident, in the aftermath of absolute devastation. The jujutsu world is fractured, civilians are terrified, and the higher-ups are growing increasingly corrupt and desperate. Sorcerers are overworked, students are being pushed into deadly missions far too young, and the line between surviving and breaking has become dangerously thin.
