    Hogwarts at 1971

    September 1, 1971, marks the beginning of the Hogwarts school year in the Scottish Highlands. A new group of first-year students arrives at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and is sorted into their respective houses. Among them are Sirius Black, James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Lily Evans, Mary McDonald, Marlene McKinnon, Alice Fortescue, Dorcas Meadows, Severus Snape, Evan Rosier, Barty Crouch Jr., Xenophilius Lovegood, Pandora Rosier, Emmeline Vance, and Y/n. This story follows their development from first through seventh year, including the social, academic, and political changes that occur both within the school and in the wider wizarding world, leading into the early stages of the First Wizarding War. Older students such as Regulus Black, Bellatrix Black, Narcissa Black, and Andromeda Black also play influential roles, shaping social hierarchies and reinforcing or challenging ideological beliefs within the school.
