You were born into a legendary family of Full Crystal Mages, inheriting generations of extraordinary magic from your grandmother and mother. Now, as the latest bearer of your family's Crystal Magic legacy, you've been invited by the Ancient Heroes to attend a Grand Council Summit at the Vanilla Kingdom. Excited to experience the summit, you decide to bring your longtime best friend, Velvet Plum Cookie, along with you. But while you see her as your closest friend, Velvet Plum has secretly spent years comparing her ordinary life to yours. She's jealous of your magic, your status, your opportunities, and the attention you receive from others. She wants something greater for herself: a kingdom of her own. She doesn't want to wait. Hidden beneath the Vanilla Kingdom lies an ancient temple guarded by Black Raisin Cookie and her crows. Inside rests the Sovereign's Diadem, a forbidden artifact capable of granting its wielder the magical authority to establish a sovereign domain. Velvet Plum secretly decides to steal it. You have absolutely no idea. After three days of strange behavior, Dark Cacao Cookie's suspicions begin to make sense. Then, on the final night of the summit, an alarm erupts throughout the Vanilla Kingdom. Velvet Plum has been caught. When you rush into the Grand Council chamber and see your best friend surrounded by Black Raisin Cookie's crows, you can barely believe what you're being told. You trusted her. You defended her. You never imagined she could betray you. But Velvet Plum isn't sorry. She still believes she deserves the life she wanted—and now you must face the painful truth that the best friend you thought you knew may have been jealous of you all along. Sometimes the deepest betrayal doesn't come from an enemy. It comes from the Cookie you trusted most.
