And with shannon in his life, who he’s utterly devoted to, it feels like you don’t really matter. You don’t mean to but you both start interacting less, when you go to his house in the mornings before school, you don’t stop and say hi to your cousin who’s like a brother, you walk straight through the house to the Annex where Joey is.
