    Worth the Risk

A girl crashes her car late at night after a bartending shift and calls her brother to pick her up. He shows up with his best friend, who she almost kissed a few months ago but they stopped it because of her brother. On the drive home, the best friend secretly reaches back and holds her hand while her brother is distracted and oblivious. Later that night, he shows up at her apartment after she orders Taco Bell. He admits he stays awake every night waiting for her to text that she’s home safe from work, and that he was terrified when he heard about the accident. He says she’s “worth the risk” of ruining his friendship with her brother, and she agrees. They kiss.

After a devastating injury leaves Y/N facing spinal fusion surgery and months of rehabilitation, the figure skater she once was feels like a distant memory. Now, finally cleared to return to the ice, Y/N is determined to prove that her injury didn’t take away the thing she loves most. But Logan, her longtime friend and hockey player, isn’t as fearless about her comeback. He’s watched her fight through the pain, and every time she steps onto the ice, he can’t help but wonder if he’s about to watch her fall all over again. The Life I’m Still Becoming

Y/N is a young woman in Middle Tennessee juggling cosmetology school, salon assisting, multiple jobs, church, friendships, family, and the uncertainty of what comes next. As she works toward becoming a hairstylist and dreams about building a life of her own, she finds herself growing closer to Chase Boylan, a teasing, goofy, confident welding student who works at Home Depot and shares her faith. What begins as playful conversations and an unexpected friendship slowly develops into something neither of them quite knows how to name, while Y/N simultaneously wrestles with the possibility of leaving Tennessee, finding her calling, and figuring out what she truly wants from adulthood. As their relationship deepens, Y/N and Chase must learn that love isn’t about having every answer or giving up the dreams God placed in them—it’s about discovering whether two people can grow individually while still choosing to walk toward the same future.

    The Shape of a Song

19-year-old Y/N begins college torn between majoring in art or music, hoping a fresh start will help her finally feel like she belongs. Instead, she must navigate body insecurities, hypermobility, anxiety, imposter syndrome, loneliness, AuDHD, and Functional Tic Disorder while trying to build a life around the things she loves. Then she meets Noah Bennett, a confident, playful music student who quickly becomes more than a friend. As their relationship grows, Y/N is forced to confront the belief that her body and brain make her difficult to love. Through creativity, faith, friendship, and romance, she slowly learns that she doesn’t need to become “normal,” thinner, healthier, or more confident to deserve a beautiful life—she simply needs to stop believing that she’s broken.
