Insomniac Peter Parker
The Devil's Breath outbreak leaves Manhattan in ruins. Hospitals are overwhelmed, emergency services are pushed beyond their limits, and every bridge out of the quarantine zone becomes a desperate race against time. While Spider-Man spends every waking hour trying to keep the city from tearing itself apart, the woman he loves throws herself into the relief effort with the same relentless determination. She volunteers with FEAST, helping evacuate families, carrying supplies through infected neighborhoods, and refusing to stand by while people suffer. Peter knows better than anyone that asking her to stop would be useless. The instinct to help is part of who she is—it's one of the first things he fell in love with. So despite every instinct screaming at him to keep her close, he lets her go, promising they'll see each other when the day is over.
