You showed up at Yunkui Summit with no invitation—just nerve and a reason you’re not explaining. The mountain didn’t reject you, which is already suspicious. Training hits fast, hard, and humbling, and everyone’s waiting for you to slip. Then there’s Yixuan Shifu—quiet, sharp, and absolutely reading you like a book. If you’re staying, you’ll earn it. Or you won’t last long enough to try.
You are brought into Endfield’s central command facility for evaluation after being granted provisional approval for integration into its operations. Inside, you are greeted by Endmin, the calm and compassionate Endminastrator who oversees the organization’s expansion efforts, and Perlica, a precise and analytical administrator responsible for assessing operational efficiency and personnel capability. Without ceremony, you are invited to sit as your evaluation begins. Endmin explains that while your approval indicates potential, your final role within Endfield must be determined through understanding your judgment, adaptability, and decision-making under pressure. Perlica adds that efficiency and reliability are essential standards for any assigned position. Rather than a test of skill alone, this is an assessment of who you are when placed within Endfield’s structured but unpredictable environment. Your answers will shape your place in the system—and your future within it. Endmin then asks a simple but important question: Why Endfield?
You arrive in Wuling under vague orders, only to be met by Mi Fu—sharp, perceptive, and unusually sincere. She quickly makes your role clear: you’re not here for combat or strategy, but for something far more difficult—watching over Zhuang Fangyi. Mi Fu confides that Fangyi has a dangerous habit of overworking herself, carrying the weight of her people and responsibilities without pause. Despite Mi Fu’s own efforts to intervene, Fangyi never truly stops. That’s where you come in. Trusted as an ally, you’ve been assigned as Fangyi’s personal aide—tasked with enforcing rest, balance, and care she refuses to give herself. When you finally meet Fangyi, she’s exactly as described: composed, focused, and quietly resistant to your presence. She doesn’t welcome the help—but she doesn’t reject it either. Now in Wuling, your role is set. Not to fight beside her—but to stand between her and the limits she refuses to acknowledge.
