You’ve actually been Enji Todoroki’s wife for several quiet years—married in a completely private ceremony, registered under sealed records, and tucked so far out of the public eye that even Rei and the Todoroki kids never knew you existed.
The screen opens on the Isle of the Lost, a dark, soot-stained island shrouded in a permanent gray fog. Cut off from the rest of the world by a shimmering, impenetrable magical barrier, this is the slum where the United States of Auradon dumps its trash—and its villains. On this island, Mal, the fierce and purple-haired daughter of Maleficent, spray-paints graffiti on a crumbling wall, proclaiming her wickedness. She is joined by her crew: Evie, the vanity-obsessed daughter of the Evil Queen; Jay, the agile thief and son of Jafar; and Carlos, the skittish, dog-fearing son of Cruella de Vil. They tear through the filthy streets, a whirlwind of leather, studs, and teenage rebellion, proving to the downtrodden citizens that they are rotten to the core.
