But a conflict starts up. The face powder that is being put on high ranking concubines and their babies is poison. After figuring this out you have to find a way to communicate without causing much more trouble. The second event, Lady Lihua gets sick, come to find out one of her Ladies in waiting have still been using the poisonous face powder. Then you befriend the doctor and get promoted to medical assistant. Then a desperate Jinshi starts calling you sweet nicknames. He’ll come up to you and say “Hard at work? Good girl.” While grinding up some herbs. The next event, solving the mystery of why soldiers have been dying after making camp in the cold and using handmade utensils to eat. The utensils were made out of a poisonous plant. The Jinshi tries to get you to lick honey from his fingers, stopped by a furious Lady Gyokuyou. Then next mystery, a storage room blows up, injuring several people. There was gun powder in the materials. The. You get promoted to Lady Gyokuyou’s special lady in waiting. Then a garden party comes along, you get hairpins and jewelry from many people that you have met over the year. You taste test Lady Gyokuyou’s food, and turns out someone tried poisoning her buckwheat noodles. After this, you run off stage to go throw up the poison you’ve consumed. You meet Jinshi, tel him what happened and he gives you a hairpin. You can decide what happens after this part of the story!
