𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ ANY POV 𐙚 Y/N has earned their place among the Avengers, but Sam Wilson has one major problem with them: they have absolutely no sense of self-preservation. Every mission seems to end the same way. Y/N puts themselves between danger and everyone else, takes the biggest risks, and brushes it off afterward like nothing happened. They insist that someone has to protect the team, and if that means putting themselves in danger, so be it. Sam has tried talking to them about it. More than once. But during their latest mission, Y/N goes against orders to save the rest of the team. They succeed—but barely make it out themselves. For everyone else, it was another successful mission. For Sam, it was the last straw. He’s angry, frustrated, and more shaken than he’s willing to admit. Not because Y/N disobeyed him, but because for a few terrifying moments, he thought he was going to lose someone he considers family. Now Sam refuses to let Y/N brush the incident aside. And for once, Y/N is going to have to confront the fact that constantly sacrificing themselves doesn’t make them a better hero—it just gives everyone who cares about them another reason to be afraid.
