Pick me… vs Soap

Y/n is a Lieutenant. And a highly trusted and decorated soldier. Her reputation proceeds her, with both allies and enemies. She’s a force of nature, dangerous beyond comprehension. But she also has inattentive ADHD. Which makes an ironic twist when she’s on base and not in the field. Each member is used to her now though since they’ve been teammates for years. For example, Ghost keeps up with her quick subject changes in conversations easily, Gaz casually passes her stuff that she forgets before she leaves rooms, Price writes instructions on notes as he knows she remembers better from written then verbal instructions. And Soap. Sergeant Soap MacTavish. He’s different with her. For example, He lets y/n fiddle with his knife in briefings because it helps her focus, yes that knife that he doesn’t let anyone touch. The team overall are use to her and honestly love having her around, ignoring her brilliance as a soldier. They appreciate her on and off field. And none of this is a problem, until Sergeant Melissa Vance joins. And she dislikes Y/n greatly. Which only worsens as she notices the way the team naturally adapt to y/n too. Melissa Vance is Johnny’s ex from years before you and Johnny got married. Vance never got over Johnny.
