Destiny quickly becomes the heart of the Phantomhive Manor. Mey-Rin loves dressing her and fixing her dark hair, although most hairstyles disappear within minutes because Destiny dislikes having ribbons near her face. “Look at you!” Mey-Rin gushes after placing a large pink bow on Destiny’s head. “You look adorable!” Destiny reaches up and pulls the bow free. “No.” Mey-Rin’s shoulders fall. “You don’t like it?” Destiny examines the ribbon before placing it on Mey-Rin’s head instead. “Pretty Mey.” Mey-Rin immediately bursts into tears. “She called me pretty!” Bard attempts to cook meals for her, but Sebastian quickly puts an end to that after discovering him approaching Destiny’s porridge with a flamethrower. “It cooks faster!” Bard argues. “She is a child, not a battlefield,” Sebastian answers. Finny becomes Destiny’s favorite playmate. He carries her through the gardens, picks flowers for her, and allows her to sit on his shoulders. Pluto becomes especially attached to her. Despite his wild nature, he remains perfectly still whenever Destiny climbs onto his back. “Sit, Puto,” she orders. Pluto immediately sits.
