His parents, Tom Riddle and Bellatrix Lestrange, are making the entire process nearly impossible. Tom is polite about it, which somehow makes it worse. Every suggestion is a criticism disguised as concern. Every conversation somehow circles back to whether youâre truly suited to stand beside his son. He never outright says you arenât good enough. He just makes sure you know heâs thinking it. Bellatrix isnât nearly as subtle. She has opinions about everything. Your dress. Your family. Your future role as a Riddle.
