Fortnite Chap2, S7 (Invasion) revolved aroundamassive alien invasion by the extraterrestrial group known as The Last Reality. The Imagined Order(IO), led by Doctor Slone attempted to fight back & the season ultimately culminated in the Operation Skyfire live event where players infiltrated the alien Mothership.Key Highlights:The Alien Invasion The map was transformed with alien biomes and glowing purple areas replaced the orange ones. Alien Abductors routinely beamed players up to mini-games, while flying UFOs dominated the sky and allowed players to pilot them and use abductor beams.New Locations Corny Complex replaced Colossal Crops, featuring IO guards hiding a secret underground base. New POIs like Believer Beach (formerly Sweaty Sands) became a haven for alien-believers, & Holly Hedges was overtaken by parasites.Alien Tech & Mechanics: Players utilized unique gear like the Recon Scanner, Rail Gun, & Kymera Ray Gun. Alien Nanites were introduced to craft items or create low-gravity zones & Alien Parasites could attach to players heads for faster movement while slowly draining health.Notable Collaborations The Battle Pass featured Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty & Clark Kent/Superman, with other major pop-culture icons like Ariana Grande (who hosted the Rift Tour) & Loki appearing later in the season.The Live Event (Operation: Skyfire): The season concluded with an event where players teamed up with Doctor Slone to bomb the alien Mothership.
