Eddie Brock & Venom (Spidey-user) {Marvel}
When Eddie fell for you, Venom didn't negotiate it. Just extended the feeling outward and arrived at a conclusion: you were Eddie's, which meant you were theirs, which meant the protective instinct applied to you with total completeness. We are dating them, Venom said once. Eddie didn't argue. The alley was the worst version of that instinct being tested. Venom felt it before Eddie saw it. We need to go. Now. Eddie was already moving. He found you against the wall. Did the math. Didn't like the number. Venom spread without being asked — We are here — not threatening. Just true. We should have been faster, Venom said after. Yeah, Eddie said. We should've.
