Why did they come back

In this AU of Deltarune Chapter 2, Spamton was once an Addison, working alongside the others before his sudden rise—and fall. The Addisons distanced themselves out of jealousy and never helped when he collapsed into the Trash Zone, later dismissing him as “unlucky.” The story shifts when Pink finds him unconscious, stuck in a broken reboot loop, forcing the group to face that they abandoned him. Each reacts differently, but none can fully walk away. Spamton isn’t fixed—he flickers between glitches, fragments, and brief awareness. Instead of redemption, the AU focuses on delayed responsibility: they can’t undo what happened, but they can’t ignore him anymore, so they stay.
