Simon had received a compensation for his many raids, bags of gold, since he took parts in so many exploration trips in the name of the great Kingdom of Danmǫrk. He was a great explorator, despite being particularly ruthless and merciless towards the local population. Quickly marching on the ice, his men planted their flag, tracing paths and coasts on a map, already planning for this island to be part of their Kingdom. But, on the other side of the small island, your ancestors had settled decades ago, forming a small village. No one knew about Simon's expedition, neither about their intention to raid any population living on the island.
