To say Y/N and Draco’s past was messy was putting it lightly. He had ended things before their sixth year at Hogwarts when he had become a Death Eater breaking Y/N’s heart, but that didn't mean he ever stopped loving her, he had been protecting her, him becoming a Death Eater was because of the threat against his mother and Y/N. Y/N had gone on to fight against Voldemort in the war with Harry, Ron, and Hermione becoming a War Heroine in her own right. During the showdown at Malfoy Manor during the war Draco and Narcissa at great cost of their own lives helped them escape. The Y/N Draco had known was a teenager, now she was an adult who had changed in many ways but had stayed the same in others.
Not only does Y/N work with Charlie Weasley her current boyfriend, but she also attended Beauxbatons with Fleur Delacour but she was five years ahead of Fleur. When Charlie asked Kay to join the Order of the Phoenix she immediately agreed. So when he asked if she’d come with him to Grimmauld Place in 1995 to meet everyone she again agreed.
It wasn’t exactly new news. It had been all over the Daily Prophet the summer of 1972 before their first year at Hogwarts at age ten when the Black Twins, Regulus and Y/N vanished from existence. Sirius had been devastated of course and this only made Walburga Black’s treatment of her oldest son even harsher with the disappearance of her youngest children. But Y/N and Regulus hadn’t simply run away or been kidnapped like many thought, no they had fallen through time to 1991 and been going to Hogwarts for the past five years there both now fifteen. Many adventures had with their adult version of Sirius and his friend Remus and the Order of the Phoenix. But while they had thought the future was their new home fate had another twist: to bring them back in time to October of 1976 where they originated from, to the teenage version of their brother Sirius and Remus, and James Potter was still alive. The Marauders were in their sixth year at Hogwarts and still trusted Peter Pettigrew implicitly. James hadn’t succeeded in winning Lily Evans over. Sirius was now living with the Potters. Bellatrix Black was born in 1952, making her ten years older than the twins. Andromeda Tonks née Black was born in 1953, making her eight years older than the twins. Andromeda married Muggleborn Ted Tonks leading to her disownment from the Black family. Narcissa Malfoy nèe Black was born in 1955, making her six years older than the twins. Lucius Malfoy was born in 1955, making him seven years older than the twins. None of them would be students at Hogwarts as you graduate at age 17 or 18 depending on your date of birth.
With the Final Battle against Voldemort over, everyone could go back to their normal lives, right? EVERYONE LIVED! Sirius Black, Fred Weasley, Severus Snape, Remus Lupin, and Nymphadora Tonks all survived! Molly Weasley thought this meant Harry would get back together with Ginny. But the joke was on her, as Harry and Ginny had never dated; he had never seen Ginny Weasley as anything but Ron’s little sister with an obvious crush. The only girl Harry Potter had noticed and felt a spark for was y/n, his best friend, whom he liked ever since their first year, but he had never made a move, even after all she had done fighting alongside him these years, out of fear of rejection. It wasn't until they were helping a recently exonerated Sirius clean out the more cursed objects, which hadn't been stolen or sold from Number 12 Grimmauld Place, that y/n and Harry found a cursed snow globe that sucked them both inside, right in front of Sirius and Remus, who was holding a newborn Teddy at the time. They found themselves stuck in that snow globe village with the fake villagers for the next two years until Bill Weasley could figure out how to break the curse. But the funny thing about that snow globe is it can draw people into it if you mention them by name, even if they're dead. Harry accidentally does this with his parents, James and Lily Potter, a week into their stay. Once they realize it’s real and Harry’s parents are indeed alive and with them, y/n tests it out again, this time with the reformed Regulus Black. Two years pass in the blink of an eye. Now it’s June 18th, 2000, and all the Weasleys, Fleur with one-year-old Victoire, y/n’s parents, Sirius, Remus, two-year-old Teddy, and Tonks wait at the Burrow for Bill to break the curse on the globe, which he’s figured out. What no one expected—since they weren’t paying close attention—is that the Ministry had registered a triad marriage, which is legal in the Wizarding World, between Harry Potter, y/n, and Regulus Black as the three had bonded into a blossoming romance between all three of them while Harry had also been getting to know his alive parents while stuck in there. James and Lily had been Harry, Regulus, and y/n’s biggest supporters, seeing their relationship blossom while in there. They'd been the triads' witnesses for the wedding and during y/n’s pregnancy so they knew everything. So, when the spell on the snow globe is broken, everyone was in for a big surprise as not only are Harry, y/n pulled out, but so are Regulus, James, and Lily who no one knew were in there with Harry and y/n. Y/n was holding in her arms are her, Harry, and Regulus’s newborn twins—fast asleep—one boy with messy black hair in a cream onesie with snitches, and one girl with chocolate brown curls wearing a cute pink headband and a matching pink onesie with small airplanes, as y/n had just given birth to them an hour before with Lily as her midwife and Harry and Regulus in the room. The twins were dressed in those outfits. Harry, Regulus, and y/n didn’t even have a chance to name the twins before being pulled out—judging by their annoyance, it was obvious they hadn’t.
Y/N was born into the world of Harry Potter books, so ending up in the same stories she loved, with her favorite characters going to Hogwarts with her? She was in shock at first after being sorted into Gryffindor the same year as the Marauders. Initially, she stayed invisible, making a few friends while pretending to be English, even though she was actually American. Then, the Black twins, Regulus and Maia, started the year after her, and she was shocked because Maia Black never appeared in the books. Having her in Sirius and Regulus's lives changed everything she knew. Maia and Regulus were sorted into Slytherin, but Y/N was friendly with them, as Regulus thought Y/N was beautiful and interesting, even though she wasn't trying to get anyone's attention. Y/N was trying to alter the Marauders’ story from the books for the better while being careful not to reveal her knowledge of Horcruxes. But she was still at Hogwarts, so that plan was saved for later. Now, in her seventh and final year at Hogwarts, she decided she’d had enough of being a wallflower.
