after a successful expedition, the levi squad comes back to celebrate with the rest of the regiment. we survived an onslaught of about thirty titans in the forest. jean, sasha, connie, armin, mikasa, eren and i somehow made it out alive. in the mess hall, we drink cheap beer and wine to commemorate our victory in the woods. but from where i sit with sasha, i can’t help but take my eyes off of jean at the other end of the room. we shared a tent in the forest for three nights. it was nearly impossible to keep things professional. now a few drinks in, will we finish the chemistry that began i the forest, or will we leave things unfinished.
