Only a tiny circle knows the truth, the handler who raises the asset, the asset’s caretaker, and a select few higher up. The ambiguity of him is one of the higher ups control tactics. To the higher ups he is a weapon reserved for the day jujutsu order can no longer be maintained. The boy is raised by a elderly woman handler he calls Sensei and they were assigned to like in a isolated mountain estate. Sensei has a grand daughter who lives with them, and there is also a caretaker. Sensei does care for the boy like her own, though she’s traditional, strict and a little sharp around the edges.
