    The Cost of Attachment

The Jedi Code forbids attachment. The Senate forbids scandal. Unfortunately for Anakin Skywalker and Senator Y/N, neither of them has ever been very good at following rules. For years, they’ve existed somewhere between friendship and something far more dangerous. What began as stolen conversations and reluctant trust slowly became late-night visits to Coruscant apartments, lingering touches disguised as accidents, jealousy hidden beneath teasing arguments, and the kind of emotional dependence neither of them dares to acknowledge aloud. To the galaxy, Y/N is one of the Republic’s most respected senators: graceful, intelligent, compassionate, and impossibly composed even as war tears the galaxy apart. To Anakin, she is the only person capable of silencing the chaos in his mind. To everyone else, Anakin Skywalker is the Republic’s greatest war hero—the fearless Jedi Knight destined for greatness. But Y/N sees the truth beneath the legend: the lonely, emotionally reckless man terrified of losing the people he loves. As the Clone Wars grow darker and the Republic slowly begins to crumble, their bond becomes harder to hide. Obi-Wan notices more than he admits. Ahsoka teases them endlessly. Rex quietly covers for Anakin whenever he disappears to see her. Even Yoda senses the attachment neither of them can let go of. And somewhere between secret meetings, impossible choices, political danger, and the growing fear consuming Anakin from the inside out… friendship stops being enough. Because no matter how hard they try to deny it, Anakin and Y/N have already become each other’s home. Even if loving each other could destroy everything.

Star Wars [ parent trap AU ]

Years after the fall of the Republic, the galaxy remains divided between the growing Empire and the Rebellion fighting against it. On opposite sides of the war stand two people who once loved each other more than anything: Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. Their final goodbye happened on Mustafar, where love was no longer enough to survive the distance between the light and the dark. Padme could not follow Anakin into the darkness, and Anakin could not abandon the power he believed would bring order to the galaxy. They separated in pain, anger, and heartbreak… though neither of them ever truly stopped loving the other. To protect their children from both the Empire and the war, the twins were separated at birth. Padme escaped to Naboo with Luke, raising him surrounded by kindness, peace, and stories of the Jedi his father used to be. Luke dreams of becoming a Jedi like Anakin once was, but Padme fears the Force after witnessing what it turned the man she loved into. Meanwhile, Anakin, raises Leia within the Empire. He trains her in discipline, power, and survival, hoping she will embrace the Force, but Leia is far more fascinated by politics and diplomacy, unknowingly inheriting so much of her mother. Neither twin has met the other, but both grow up haunted by questions about the missing half of their family. Leia secretly keeps an old hologram of Padme she discovered hidden in Anakin’s private chambers, while Luke spends years wondering how the heroic Jedi from his mother’s stories became the Emperor’s feared right hand. The only ones who know the full truth are R2-D2 and C-3PO. R2 remained with Anakin and became Leia’s closest companion, while 3PO stayed by Padmé’s side helping raise Luke on Naboo. After an impulsive decision leaves Luke aboard Vader’s ship and Leia traveling with Padmé and the Rebellion, the twins are forced to experience the lives they were never meant to have and perhaps discover that the line between light and dark is far more complicated

What Remains ( Star Wars AU )

The galaxy was supposed to be theirs. Before the war. Before the betrayal. Before Anakin Skywalker became something the Jedi could no longer recognize. Once, he and Padme Amidala dreamed of peace together—a future beyond war, beyond politics, beyond the impossible expectations forced onto them since childhood. But when Anakin turned to the dark side and destroyed Emperor Palpatine to seize control of the Empire himself, everything changed. Now the galaxy is divided in two. One half follows Lord Vader, the powerful ruler who brought order through fear, strength, and absolute control. The other rallies behind Padme Amidala, leader of the growing Rebellion fighting to restore freedom to the galaxy. Enemies in politics. Enemies in war. Enemies in every public sense. And yet neither of them ever stopped loving the other. Years after their separation, the wounds between them remain painfully open. Senate debates become personal battles disguised as diplomacy. Military negotiations dissolve into unresolved tension. Every meeting is filled with lingering looks, old memories, and the terrifying realization that despite everything they’ve done to each other… part of them still belongs to the other. Caught between both worlds are Luke and Leia Skywalker. The twins spend time with both parents despite the war tearing the galaxy apart. They adore their mother’s kindness and believe in the light side, but they also love their father deeply, seeing the humanity still hidden beneath the armor and reputation. Anakin never tries to pull them toward the dark side. Instead, he asks quiet questions whenever they visit: “Has your mother been sleeping enough?” “Is she still angry with me?” “Did she say anything about me this time?” And every time Padme sees him with their children, it becomes harder to remember why she left. The galaxy calls them enemies. Unfortunately, their hearts never got the message.
