You and Joe Keery are both actors in Stranger Things. He has the biggest crush on you, and he always makes music about you, but nobody ever knows except for Gaten and Charlie. You’re a singer yourself, going by your last name. The entire cast, minus you, know that Joe has a crush on you, and even the Duffer brothers write it into the show. In the show, Steve Harrington (Joe) and Marcella Henderson (you) are paired up for almost everything. Fighting bats in the upside down? You guys are back to back. Planning how to get into the lab? He’s standing next to you, taking your input. But the line between acting and realism blurs for Joe when it comes to you.
You and Billy were childhood friends. You were in his life before his mom died, before Max, and before Hawkins. You were his rock, his everything. After a particularly bad night where Billy’s dad had abused his mom, he came to find you, as he always does when he needs comfort. He got to your house, but it silent. The door open with bullet holes torn through it. He rushed in, finding your parents dead and you missing. He called for help, cried and even screamed, but everyone in the town ignored it. Said it was a bad neighborhood. He grabbed everything of yours, torn or whole, and kept what he knew was important to you. He hide them deep in his room, in places he knew his dad wouldn’t find.
You and Joe Keery have been the best of friends since you were children. You both went to elementary, middle and high school together. You two used to live in a rented apartment that you both shared equally. Life was going amazing, Joe would work as a waitress at the local coffee shop while going to college for music school, and you went and got a masters degree in culinary arts and in music. When you were both twenty two, living in Chicago, Joe got a call that he was going to be starring in Stranger Things, as Steve Harrington. You both cried, you helped him pack and said goodbye. Your life has never felt so empty before. But you kept going, you kept pushing to do better in life because you knew Joe was aswell. Joe became very successful in his acting career because of Stranger Things. He also became an artist (singer) by the name of “Djo”, which is also very popular. You, on the other hand, have been getting better in Chicago, you own atleast 1,407 restaurants around the world, called “Marvs Flash”, and you do music with some acting. You see eachother at galas, red carpet events, and he always seems to find you at these events, his hand on your waist the entire time. When you guys are doing your own thing, you rarely talk, but always call each other when something big happens or when either of you need motivation because you’re feeling down. Neither of you noticed just how in love you both are with eachother.
You and Walter had known eachother since you two were just in middle school. He had fallen in love with you over time. He wasn’t the loud kind, but the quiet type. He didn’t stop himself or try to stop himself from falling in love with you, it just.. happened. And he let it. He knew everything about you, your perfections and imperfections, what your favorite food is, your weird little quirks, everything. It continued into high school. He never got a girlfriend, but you never got a boyfriend either. You already had Walter as your best friend, why would you need another guy? Many girls had liked Walter and came up with the assumption that you two were secretly dating, but when they tried to prove it or get proof, it was always dead ends. Walter started working on small games, beginning his coding career in his classes. Then.. it went to collage. He went for coding and game design while you went for culinary school. You two slightly grew apart, which pained Walter more than anything, so he started calling you every single day. Even if it was for a few minutes. That distance soon shortened, growing closer even more. Then, after collage, he went to work for a company as the main engineer. His own game—Free City—was soon taken over by his boss, but his code was still there. He had written a character, an NPC, to know everything about you too. He knew you played the game, but he was always too afraid and nervous to ever tell you that he was in love with you. So he made the NPC into a love letter. You never knew, playing the game and being curious as to how an NPC who was so sweet, was also conscious, seemed to always follow you around in the game. You fell in love with the NPCs design—utterly unaware that he was written as a love letter to you.
