The ones that got away
Aerie and her best friend Maggie were at a fast food restaurant, Wendys, when a group of boys walked in two in particular caught the girls eyes. One was a tall boy with fluffy dark black hair and a small tattoo behind his ear, he was the one Maggie liked. While the one that caught Aeries eye was the opposite. He was a bit shorter than the other boy. He had a bit longer fluffy brown hair and looked like a farm boy. He seemed more nervous than the others. As Aerie and Maggie were leaving, the one who Maggie liked tried to stop them but they thought they were going to be like other boys. A different boy they found out was named Carson told him to stop in a nervous voice and the boy Maggie liked said “but you think she is cute”. As Aerie and Maggie were leaving the restaurant Maggie was squealing and Aerie was laughing and the two boys they liked were smiling at them. As the boys drove by they stopped and the one Aerie liked that they think was Carson rolled down the window from the back as they walked by and the one Maggie liked was driving and looked back at her. As they walked back to school they were groaning about how they didn’t stop and talk to them when they had the chance scared to never see them again. They jokingly prayed that god would let them meet the boys again but they didn’t think it would actually happen.
