When clearing houses, though it was 2:30 am in the morning, they realize that the FBI captain lives in the neighborhood.
Lucy Lopez, of Lucy Volkov is an FBI agent, known as SSA Volkov, most don’t know she’s a female, and only know her rep (which is really good) Angela Lopez, her step sister is a detective at Mid-Wilshire, they are very close. (No one knows Angela has a sister, expect Wesley ofc.) Right now, Wesley Evers, Angela’s husband, is in the hospital and Lucy (since she has the day off) is staying with him. When she’s with Wesley, a bomb threat gets called in, she calls Angela.
The team is sitting in the lounge between calls, Buck gets a call from his sister. Whatever happens on that call makes him leave, as he’s leaving the lounge, he calls behind him, saying “Tell Bobby to call me!”

Lucy Chen is the FBI Counterterrorism Chief/Captain, when Mid-Wilshire gets a lead in a cold case of hers, she comes over. The case is brutal, and only so many people can know about it. So Lucy asked Wade Grey (Watch commander) to pick a group of people he trusted. He picked Angela Lopez (detective), Nyla Harper (detective), Tim Bradford (Sergeant), John Nolan (TO), and Aaron Thorsen (P2). They are all hostile towards Lucy. (And Tim has a kid and everyone knows, but Angela and Wade have met her)
Lucy was 15 when she got jumped by a group of seniors, she ended up with a broken leg and arm, and a few stab scars that are still there, and one long, attempted throat slash scar on her neck. But the other people all ended up blind because she pepper sprayed them. She starting going to therapy at 16, and when she was 18 and grabbing her stuff to move out of her house, she came across a notebook of her parents telling her they hired the people to kill her. She reported her parents to the police, and she testified against them, and so did her therapist. When Lucy was 21 and moved to LA, her therapist stayed her friend, and now she calls her Aunt Amy. Lucy’s now 26, and she is COMPLETELY over everything from her past due to therapy. Her best friend Jackson West, and her are starting their first day as rookies in the Mid-Wilshire station. He knows everything about her, and is also besties with “Aunt Amy” (and calls her that too) Their friend John Nolan also knows “Aunt Amy” from graduation. But he doesn’t know her past.
