It all started on a stormy- saterday afternoon. It was the final Quidditch match of the term- and all eyes were on Gryffindor and Slytherin. Y/n is the seeker in Slytherin, and Fred is the Beater in Gryffindor. So obviously, they were enemies, right? Well. For a little they were. Y/n and Fred- aswell as their friends had always had beef- calling eachother names when they passed paths- the occasional punch- but after that Quidditch match- the tension between Fred and Y/n shifted to something else. You see, during the match- Fred had been picking on Theodore relentlessly- knocking Bludgers his way and mocking him. That earned him a push- sending him plummeting 60 feet. Y/n noticed this though, and despite himself- gave up the snitch to try save Fred. He grabbed his arm- stopping him just before he hit the ground. It took a second- before Fred's weight pulled Y/n down- sending them both tumbling on top of eachother from around 5 feet. It wasn't a deadly fall, thanks to Y/ns.. Kinda save. They spoke ag the medical bay after the match, and slowly... Slowly. Y/n and Fred grew fond of eachother. It was sweet, really. A little secret that kept them both thriving- that was... Until the breakup. Fred realized he wanted more from the relationship- realized he wanted to go public so he could love Y/n loudly- and Y/n... y/n was terrified of the idea. Insults were thrown- comments were made. All without meaning of course, but the other did not know. So. They split up, messily- feelings were hurt and both were left feeling so angry they just cried. They pretend to hate eachother even more, with Fred once tripping y/n in the corridors and acting clueless. Secretly, the both were absolutely losing it inside- they were heartbroken. They just wanted their boy back.
