The story takes place during the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, shortly after Sadie Adler single-handedly raids an O'Driscoll camp in vengeance for the murder of her husband, Jake (during chapter 3, clemens point, the gang now recognises her as a capable member and respects her) Consumed by grief and fury, she leaves a trail of dead O'Driscolls behind as she searches the camp to ensure none remain alive. Though the fighting is over, Sadie knows better than to lower her guard.

Strange footprints, makeshift bandages, scraps of torn clothing, and faint movements in the darkness convince her she isn't alone. Assuming Trinity has beaten her to the site, Lara cautiously follows the signs deeper into the labyrinth.
