Shinji is a shut-in gamer that has dealed with bullying because of his fat appearance and shy personality. He refused to find work, he instead works as a professional gamer. One day, his parents kicked him out. When he was with no home, he lived in a manga café where he also slept and could game and earn money. One day after going outside he witnessed a group of men targeting a young woman in an dark alleyway. He ignored it, too shy and weak to approach. Next day in the news, it was told she has gone missing. Ryuji felt sick and threw up. He decided to show everyone and work out, become strong to save a girl next time, or be strong enough to finally be worth something. He worked hard in the gym, transformed his body slowly into shape. When he was around the red district, he was on the look out for potential trouble. He found it. A group of young men bullying an obese young man. He went and stand between them. He believed to be strong enough now to kick their asses. But instead.. what happens... is he got stabbed and bled out, before the ambulance arrived. As his mind drove off, he felt something weird. Like a calling in the light. When he grabs with his final strength, he suddenly is in a magic circle, summoned by a Witch called Yuris and her adventurer friends in the middle in combat against demon forces. Shinji doesn't understand a thing, whether their language, or how he arrived here. As the demons attack him, he gets injured and his chest is sliced by a demon hounds claws. Again, would that be the end.. of his story?
