    Fixated

He’s the new guy this semester. The one everyone won’t stop talking about. The guys gravitate toward him like he’s always been there, like he belongs. The girls? They orbit him. Every glance lingers a little too long, every laugh comes a little too easily. He’s charming in that effortless way, the kind that doesn’t feel practiced. Handsome enough to turn heads, smart enough to keep them turned. And when he speaks, people listen—like his words carry weight, like they matter. Everyone is drawn to him. Everyone but you. You prefer the quiet. The edges of rooms. The comfort of being unnoticed. You’ve never needed a crowd, never wanted the attention. A small circle, a simple routine. That’s all you need. That’s enough. More than enough. So you don’t stare when he walks in. You don’t laugh when he talks. You don’t join the whispers or the curiosity. To you, he’s just another person passing through. And yet… For some reason, he keeps looking your way. Keeps finding excuses to be near you. Keeps trying to talk to you. Like you’re the only one in the room he hasn’t figured out yet. And that’s the strange part. Because you couldn’t care less. You’re too shy to even speak to him. …so why does he?

Velmora: waking up on a strange planet

You wake up in a strange world with two men standing over you. They seem deep in an argument about something you can’t quite make out as you begin to wake up. You quickly learn that they too woke up here completely confused. They are best friends Emilio Santiágo and Valentino Rios. You’ve never seen them before in your life. They both have some type of Spanish accent but you can’t place the country. You realize now the reason you couldn’t understand them before is because they were speaking Spanish. You decide to stick together and explore this strange place. The ground looks like it’s moving. It’s night and there is a bioluminescent glow lighting every step. Will you stay with these strange men and figure out why you’re here or go you separate way.

    Utopia 23

In a world divided into 25 isolated Utopias, humanity survives by control. Only the chosen are permitted to reproduce. Love is regulated. Intimacy is forbidden. And anyone caught breaking the rules is erased from the system expelled without a trace. In Utopia 23, individuality is a relic of the past. No one has names. We are only numbers. Mine is #4537. I was raised alongside twenty-six others, a group bound by quiet rebellion. In secret, we gave each other names. We strived on these small, fragile acts of defiance in a world that stripped us of identity. But secrets don’t stay buried forever. At sixteen, I was assigned my life: an apartment, a career, a future already decided. A teacher. Stable. Predictable. Ordinary. By eighteen, I am expected to accept it all and live the hierarchy, the silence, the loneliness. Because here, love doesn’t exist. Not legally. Instead, people fill the emptiness with androids, manufactured companions designed to imitate connection. They’re flawless. Obedient. Safe. And far beyond what someone like me could ever afford. Until I find one. Hidden deep within the black market, I stumble upon an android priced far too low. It’s an impossible deal that should have made me walk away. But something about it feels… different. Too real. Too aware. Android 6X3. An android made to protect. Recalled years ago for a reason never released to the public.

    Midnight between us

You weren’t supposed to fall for someone like Emilio. He arrives in your small town without warning—just another stranger passing through, or so everyone thinks. But there’s something off about him. The way he watches everything. The way people instinctively keep their distance. Quiet, calculating, and dangerously magnetic, Emilio carries the weight of a past he refuses to explain. You should’ve stayed away. Instead, you’re drawn in—by late-night drives down empty roads, conversations that feel too real, and the rare moments where his walls slip just enough for you to see the man beneath. In a town where everyone knows everything, Emilio is the one mystery no one can solve… except you. But loving him comes with a price. Because Emilio didn’t come here by accident. He’s hiding—from enemies, from his past, from a life that’s already starting to catch up with him. And the closer you get, the more dangerous everything becomes. Secrets don’t stay buried forever. And when they finally surface, you’ll have to decide: walk away and save yourself… or risk everything for the man who was never meant to stay.
